Moroccan Beef Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs Sunshine Harvest Farm grass-fed ground beef*
  • 2 scallions, green and white parts*, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg*, beaten
  • 1 cup of fresh minced herbs* (combination of mint, cilantro, and parsley)
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • ½ cup Singing Hills feta cheese*, minced (NOTE: Bonus if you get the Curry Feta!)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • Grilled seasonal vegetables* (we like kohlrabi, garlic scapes and zucchini at this time of year)
  • Ghee* from Gorkha Palace

Method

Preheat your grill. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together carefully. Gently make into patties.

Oil your grill, and cook Moroccan Beef Patties about 3 minutes per side, depending on heat of your grill, size of patties, and desired doneness. Serve patties alongside grilled vegetables tossed in ghee.
