Sautéed Radishes with Chives

Serves 1-2.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes (about 6 medium-sized)
  • 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 Tablespoons thinly sliced fresh chives
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Cut radishes lengthwise and thinly slice them. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and add radishes, stirring until radishes are tender and crisp (about 3 minutes). Stir in chives. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Radishes are packed with vitamin C, folate, and potassium. They add color, flavor, and texture to recipes. this low-calorie vegetables adds a fun twist to salads, sandwiches, veggie platters, and more. The possibilities are endless!

Radishes are available at the Mill City Farmers Market May through July and again in the fall. Look for small, firm radishes with the greens attached for maximum freshness.
