Jeff Nistler farms 150 acres surrounding the Maple Plain farm her grew up on. With help from his retired father, neighbors and the rest of Jeff’s team, Nistler Farms is known for growing exceptional sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins and sunflowers in several greenhouses and in the field. They use limited commercial inputs and no herbicide, fungicide or insecticide, relying on crop rotation, cover crops, hand weeding and other time-tested methods.
Jeff and his crew also offer spruce tops and Christmas trees at the Mill City Farmers Market’s indoor winter markets in November and December.
