Minneapolis-based Double Dog Kombucha is a symbiotic culture of love for dogs and fizzy fermented tea. Owner Lee Vang sources ingredients for his unique kombucha flavors sustainably from fellow farmers market vendors and local grocery co-ops.
After struggling with alcohol consumption for years, particularly with beer, Lee found that having a substitute beverage with strong flavors was the perfect solution and began experimenting with brewing his own kombucha. Lee mimics not only the appearance of beer with his brightly colored cans, but also the flavors with citra hops and seasonal favorites like blueberry porter.
Double Dog Kombucha offers three to four flavors (including a seasonal specialty) in cans and on-tap at the Mill City Farmers Market outdoor and indoor markets.
