10:30 to 11 a.m. & 11 to 11:30 a.m. – Get ready to feel amazed at what you can make with two staples you likely have in your pantry. James Beard award-winning author Beth Dooley and photographer Mette Nielsen (Sweet Nature: A Cook’s Guide to Using Honey & Maple Syrup) wow us with recipes using honey and maple syrup, aka nature’s sugar as part of the WordPlay Book Festival.

Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information booth every week! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.
