Halloween Harvest Festival

Celebrate the end of the outdoor season at our Halloween Harvest Festival. Shop the bounty of squash, greens, root vegetables, artisan cheeses, grass-fed meats, seasonal preserves, and so much more! Plus, any trick-or-treaters who come to the market's information booth will receive a free $5 Power of Produce token to spend on fruits or veggies at the market!

Apples, arugula, beets, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celeriac, collards, green onions, herbs, kale, kohlrabi, lavender, microgreens, mushrooms, mustard greens, parsnips, radicchio, radishes, oregano, onions, peppers (hot and sweet), peanuts, potatoes, salad mix, shallots, spinach, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, turnips, winter squash, and so much more!

Mill City Cooks

10:30-11AM Market Chef Jenny Breen will prepare a seasonal market meal in our FREE cooking demonstration, Mill City Cooks!

Kids' Activity

Power of Produce–PoP Club! A seasonal vegetable tasting club for kids ages 3-12. For the month of October, kids ages 3-12 will earn a $5 voucher to spend on bountiful fall fruits and veggies at the market by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable sample. Samples are at our info booth in the center of the market on the Chicago Mall. This month $5 PoP vouchers are sponsored by Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Ingredient Magazine- The food magazines for kids ‘Ingredient’ and ‘Butternut’ are made in Minnesota and distributed around the world, bringing food literacy to children and tweens. Meet the editor-in-chief, participate in a coloring activity, and get a free digital subscription or buy a print subscription at their booth this Saturday!

Live Music

11AM – 1PM MCFM welcomes Light of the Moon, playing folk and bluegrass music in the music tent located near the Guthrie stairs.

Art Market

This Saturday’s featured local artists include: Barn Swallow Garden, Matthew Krousey Ceramics, Hat Make, Oh Dier, Birchberry Native Arts and Food, ArtAndes, and Sally Fritz Clothing. Find them in the train shed!
