The Harvest Social is a celebration of local food champions. This year’s dinner will be prepared by renowned local Chef Nettie Colón using ingredients sourced from Mill City Farmers Market vendors.

Tickets for this year’s Harvest Social may be sold out, but you can still support the Market during our annual fundraiser. Online auction proceeds support our work expanding local food & land access, increasing sustainability & building community. We can’t continue this important work without the support of our community!

Tickets for the Harvest Social include a donation to the market’s Charitable Fund.

The Mill City Farmers Market Charitable Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created to support and expand our mission and deepen our impact as an anchor in the local food system. The Charitable Fund enables us to:

Expand access to nutritious, local, sustainably-produced food through our Greens for Good food donation program and SNAP/EBT Market Bucks matching program which triple matches grocery dollars for our community members who experience food insecurity.
Fund grants to local farmers and food makers through our Next Stage Grant Program and Hardship Grant Program, supporting local, regenerative farmers and food producers who are improving sustainable farming and business practices and growing toward the “next stage” of their local food businesses or experiencing hardship due to extreme weather or medical circumstances.
Provide experiential learning opportunities for all ages in a thriving, inclusive gathering place with a direct connection to the source of one’s food; empowering support for a local, sustainable and resilient food economy.
Host free opportunities for movement by offering yoga & movement classes in partnership with local studios on Saturdays during the outdoor season
Build small businesses by providing a primary weekly marketplace, training on local sourcing and connections with other vendors, building brand recognition, market setup and audience.
Collaborate with partners like the Farmers Markets of Minneapolis Collaborative to leverage our collective resources that support a sustainable, local food economy rooted in abundance and community.
Grow innovative approaches and solutions that sustain and grow a thriving local food system and community through lowering waste, uplifting marginalized communities and funding sustainable research.
