Find some holiday cheer at our November and December markets with Christmas trees and spruce tops from Nistler Farms. Starting November 16th, Jeff Nistler will be bringing wild balsam fir trees, spruce tops, birch logs and dogwood branches for all your winter decorating needs.
Why buy local? According to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, buying local trees supports the local economy and the Christmas tree industry provide many environmental benefits. Christmas tree farms plant as many as three new seedlings for each tree that is cut down. As they grow, the trees act as a carbon sink: pulling carbon dioxide out of the air. Additionally, the trees can provide habitat for wildlife and travel a shorter distances to maintain freshness and reduce their carbon footprint further.
For questions and to pre-order your tree contact Jeff Nistler at nstlrfrm@frontiernet.net or 612-816-3653.
