Winter Market

In response to the public health emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Mill City Farmers Market will be limiting our remaining winter markets on April 4th & 18th to the picking up of pre-orders only.

Payment using SNAP/EBT will be accepted. In order to make pick ups as efficient and timely as possible, EBT is the only form of on-site payment we will be accepting.

Intructions for preordering and picking up can be found here. Thank you for understanding and supporting local food and farmers during this time.

Eat well & wash your hands,

The Winter Markets are located inside the lobby of the Mill City Museum (no museum admission required). Winter Markets are bike and public transit friendly to ensure our accessibility and to minimize our environmental footprint. Please consider biking or using public transit to contribute to our shared mission of environmental impact.

Bike: Enjoy a luxurious (or vigorous!) river-view bike ride along West River Parkway, the Hiawatha Trail, or through town! Bicycle parking is available along West River Parkway, 2nd Street and on the northeast side of the Guthrie. You can also rent a Nice Ride and drop it at the station on Chicago & Washington or Gold Medal Park.

Light Rail: We are just two short blocks north of the US Bank Stadium Light Rail stop.

Bus: Several Metro Transit bus lines, including the 7, 10, 17, 22, 250, 264, and 288, stop within blocks of the Market. Plan your trip.

Walk: In the neighborhood? Lace up those walking shoes and head on over! There is no better way to start a Saturday morning than with a leisurely stroll to the farmers market.

Parking: There is plenty of street parking at meters ($1/hr) on 2nd St. and surrounding avenues. In addition, there are two convenient municipal parking ramps, directly across the street from the Mill City Museum and The Guthrie Theater.

Municipal Parking Ramps on 2nd Street

  • 0 – 1/2 hour $1.50
  • 1/2  – 1 hour $3.00
  • Saturday Special (in after 8am out by 1pm) $3.00

Our indoor winter market has capacity for about half as many vendors as our outdoor market. For this reason, we open the applications to our current/returning vendors first, and if we are still in need of vendors we will contact those who have filled out our pre-application. Click here to learn more about our application process.
