Owner Heidi Skoog uses the best local and organic fruit she can find to make her Serious Jam – often fruit and herbs from farmers who are selling next to her at the farmers market! She loves to make those connections and be able to tell someone that the jam they are eating is from a local farmer’s land. Using organic cane sugar, high quality spices, liqueurs, and spirits, Heidi makes well-balanced, not-too-sweet jam with flavors like Rhubarb Lavender Jam, Chai Spiced Pear Butter, MN Grape Jelly and Honeyberry Lime Jam. Try using Serious Jam as an ingredient in cooking or cocktails instead of the standard (but delicious) toast with jam. Or as many of her customers do – straight from the jar with a spoon!
