Crookedwood is a Circle Pines, Minnesota woodworking company owned by Jim Benson. Jim designs and makes many different wooden cooking utensils including spurtles, spatulas, spreaders, mixers, mashers, muddlers, forks, spoons and more. The majority of his work is made from cherry and maple. Jim treats his products with mineral oil and beeswax, and they are considered safe for contact with food. Crookedwood utensils are also safe to use on non-stick cookware.
My intent is to make something that is as pleasant to look at as it is to use. While some pieces are similar I try to make each piece different and unique.
