Note: Bliss won’t be selling their products at MCFM during the 2024 season, but you can still find their granola in many local co-ops!
Bliss Gourmet Foods is based on the Muesli recipe that founder Lesley Powers used to serve at The Metro, her restaurant in Australia. Now that she lives in Saint Paul with her husband and family, Powers continues to make small batches of granola each week in her incubator kitchen with organic, whole grain oats. Wanting her granola to be as Minnesotan as possible, she uses many locally sources ingredients, such as grain and seeds from the Whole Grain Milling Company in Welcome, MN; honey from Ames Farm in Delano, MN and Black Bear Honey in North Oaks; and maple syrup from Northern Lakes.
Bliss Granola tailors their line-up to the season, with batches of pumpkin spice each fall giving way to pecan cinnamon every winter. A year-round favorite is the Sweet and Salty line, infused with butterscotch pecan and chocolate hazelnut, tempered by hints of sunflower seed and sea salt for a sweet, salty crunch of complex flavor.
Those with gluten sensitivity will be happy to hear that all Bliss Granola’s flavors are also available in certified gluten-free versions.
