Mill City Farmers Market’s Saturday Market is Minneapolis' trusted source for local, sustainable and organic groceries, bringing fresh food, cooking education and live entertainment to one beautiful place. Join over 60 local farmers, food makers and artisans – rain or shine – this Saturday for a unique outdoor shopping experience.

Produce Planner

9 to 10 a.m. – As part of the Market’s mission to grow a healthier community, we’ve partnered with local neighborhood yoga studios to offer free outdoor yoga classes! Mill City Cooks

10:30 to 11 a.m. Learn how to cook your #WeeklyMarketMeal in our free chef-led cooking class, Mill City Cooks, offered every Saturday in the train shed patio. This Saturday, market chef Beth Jones will be making a seasonal dish using ingredients from the market. Plus, our kids’ tables at the demo always feature coloring sheets and other engaging activities, giving adults some free time to relax with a cup of coffee while picking up tips and easy seasonal recipes from our market chefs. Samples and recipe cards are available at each demo—or check out our recipe archive!

Book Signing

Meet the authors of ‘Untamed Mushrooms‘ at the Market this Saturday! Michael Karns, Dennis Becker and Lisa Golden Schroeder will being selling and signing copies of this new book, which explains how to seek, find and cook wild Minnesota mushrooms.

Live Music

11 to 1p.m. – The Eddies on the River will be singing classic folk and Americana in the green music tent by the Guthrie stairs.

Mini Farm

The Minnesota Historical Society’s Oliver H. Kelley Farm joins us on the second Saturday of each month to show us what life was like on an 1860’s Minnesota farm. Meet heritage-breed sheep and chickens and chat with Kelley Farm staff on the top of the Chicago Mall, near Spoonriver restaurant.

Art Market
