Mill City’s Saturday Farmers Market is Minneapolis' trusted source for local, sustainable and organic groceries, bringing fresh food, cooking education and live entertainment to one beautiful place. Join over 60 local farmers, food makers and artisans – rain or shine – this Saturday for a unique outdoor grocery shopping experience. Remember, we open an hour later in October at 9 a.m.!

Produce Planner

Apples, arugula, beans (dried), beets, bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, collard greens, garlic, green beans, ground cherries, herbs, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, microgreens, mushrooms (fresh, frozen, dried), onions, peanuts, peppers (hot, sweet), potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, salad mix, shallots, spinach, Swiss chard, tomatoes (cherry, slicers), tomatillos, turnips (hakurei, salad) and winter squash.


The produce guide is our best estimate but, due the variable nature of farming, not guaranteed!

10:30 to 11 a.m. – #WeeklyMarketMeal: Chef Beth Jones continues the class by showing you how to breakdown and roast a whole chicken from Sunshine Harvest Farm. Samples and recipe cards are available at each demo—or check out our recipe archive!

Live Music

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – HamDog will be playing café accordion tunes in the green music tent by the Guthrie stairs.


Power of Produce

Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information booth every week! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.
