This Saturday we're celebrating our Friends of the Market with a donation drive and appreciation event for our supporters! Become a Friend at or before the Market on June 8th and receive a free bunch of MN-grown rhubarb as a special thank you! Mill City’s Saturday Farmers Market is Minneapolis' trusted source for local, sustainable and organic groceries, bringing fresh food, cooking education and live entertainment to one beautiful place.

Produce Planner

Arugula, asparagus, beans (dried), beets, bok choy (baby), carrots, chili peppers (dried), green onions, herbs (fresh), kale, lettuce, microgreens, mushrooms (fresh, frozen, dried), nettles, radishes, rhubarb, salad mix, spinach, sunchokes, Swiss chard, turnips (hakurei, salad) and zucchini
The produce guide is our best estimate but, due the variable nature of farming, not guaranteed!

Community Booth

While supplies last. Sign up with a sustaining, monthly donation or a one-time donation of $60 or more to qualify. Donate online or at the Market, and pick up your gift at the green tent at the top of the Market on June 8th as part of our donation drive.


Market Yoga

9 to 10 a.m. – As part of the Market’s mission to grow a healthier community, we’ve partnered with local neighborhood yoga studios to offer free outdoor yoga classes! Before or after you shop the Market, join talented instructors from YogaFit Studios for an hour of blissful outdoor practice in the lawn overlooking the Mighty Mississippi and Stone Arch Bridge! Mill City Cooks

10 to 10:15 a.m. – Learn fundamental cooking skills, including selection, prep and storage for seasonal farmers market vegetables and more in the train shed patio.
10:30 to 11 a.m. – Join us for our chef-led cooking class offered every Saturday in the train shed patio, inspiring you to make your #WeeklyMarketMeal. This Saturday, market chef Beth Jones will be making a seasonal dish using ingredients from the market. Samples and recipe cards are available at each demo—or check out our recipe archive!

Live Music

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Say Darling String Band will be playing folk tunes in the green music tent by the Guthrie stairs.


Mini Farm

The Minnesota Historical Society’s Oliver H. Kelley Farm joins us on the second Saturday of each month to show us what life was like on an 1860’s Minnesota farm. Meet heritage-breed sheep and chickens and chat with Kelley Farm staff on the top of the Chicago Mall, near Spoonriver restaurant.


Power of Produce

Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information booth every week! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.
