About

—Cherry and Tim will no longer be at the market as Page & Flowers. Look for their new businesses at the Mill City Farmers Market: Frogtown Farms and Holistic Health Farms

It all started in the garden.

Tim Page was working for Emerge running the Streetwerks Garden team, and Cherry Flowers was implementing gardens in the Twin Cities for Detroit based Urban Farming ™ including a number of sites in North Minneapolis.  Tim and his crew stopped at the 12th and Morgan garden one sunny day in 2009 and asked if we needed help, and so began the interweaving of our collaboration.

The more we worked together, the more we wanted to work together, so in April 2010, we launched our business. We were growing fresh produce using sustainable methods and selling at farmers markets, yet, it was obvious that we were growing more than food, we were building communities. We started sharing our knowledge by hosting tours of our farm site and High Tunnel Education Center in the Hamline Midway neighborhood of St Paul. Soon, we began contracting with various organizations (see Who We Love) to provide Knowledge/Skill Share opportunities about urban agriculture to their clients.

Right now, we are living the dream. We do work we love. We see people benefit from the experience of growing their own food and learning about entrepreneurial possibilities related to the local food system. Yep, life is good!
