ArtAndes is a textile design business based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are a small business devoted to the design and marketing of fine textiles from Peru. We specialize in a high quality, hand-woven flat weave. Here you will find unique rugs, runners, pillows and tapestries. Our relationships with the weavers are close, fair, and respectful. ArtAndes was created out of a personal interest in the people, culture, and textiles of Peru. Many traditional designs have been reintroduced to today’s weavers through a collection of classic textile books and extensive historical research. In addition to recreating the historic patterns, we are creating contemporary and classic designs that lend themselves to a wide variety of decors. ArtAndes rugs reflect an ancient tradition of expression and human fortitude. Unique and timeless, each rug is a meaningful heirloom, infused with the spirit of the Andes.
