Mill City Farmers Market joins markets across the country in celebrating National Farmers Market Week! Come celebrate the summer's bounty this week and support local and sustainable agriculture in our community. Mill City Farmers Market’s Saturday Market is Minneapolis' trusted source for local, sustainable and organic groceries, bringing fresh food, cooking education and live entertainment to one beautiful place.

Produce Planner

Apples, arugula, bok choi, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, dried beans, eggplant, fresh herbs, garlic, green beans, kale, lettuce, microgreens, mushrooms, peppers, radishes, radicchio, raspberries, snap peas, snow peas, spinach, spring onions, peppers, squash blossoms, summer squash, Swiss chard, tomatillos, tomatoes, zucchini and more!

Mill City Cooks

Learn how to cook market meals in our free, chef-led cooking demo, Mill City Cooks, offered every Saturday in the train shed patio at 10:30. This Saturday, market chef Nettie Colón will be making Sweet Corn Ice Cream!! Plus, our kids’ tables at the demo always feature coloring sheets and other engaging activities, giving adults some free time to relax with a cup of coffee and learn tips and easy seasonal recipes from our market chefs. Samples and recipe cards are available at each demo—or check out our recipe archive!

Live Music

Sweet Rhubarb will be playing live music from 11 – 1 in the green music tent by the Guthrie stairs.

Mini Farm

The Minnesota Historical Society’s Oliver H. Kelley Farm joins us on the second Saturday of each month to show us what life was like on an 1860’s Minnesota farm. Meet heritage-breed sheep and chickens and chat with Kelley Farm staff on the top of the Chicago Mall, near Spoonriver restaurant.

Power of Produce

Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information tent every Saturday! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.

Community Booths

Farmers Markets of MPLS Come early to pick up a free reusable bag and children’s book near the information booth! Farmers Markets of MPLS is a collaborative of Minneapolis’ 27 farmers markets, fostering the vitality of the City’s farmers markets through strategic and informed innovation, advocacy, education, and cohesive partnerships.

Join Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service to learn about the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, the national park that runs through the heart of Minneapolis. Find out about Paddle Share, the first self-serve kayak share program in the country, Junior Ranger programs, and learn about places in the Twin Cities to get your national park passport stamped.
