Mill City Farmers Market’s Saturday Market is Minneapolis' trusted source for local, sustainable and organic groceries, bringing fresh food, cooking education and live entertainment to one beautiful place. Join us and over 60 local farmers, food makers and artisans - rain or shine - this Saturday for a unique outdoor shopping experience.

Produce Planner

Apples, aronia berries, artichoke, arugula, biter melon, bok choi, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, cherry tomatoes, collards, cucumbers, dried beans, eggplant, fennel, fresh herbs, garlic, grapes, green beans, kale, lettuce, microgreens, mushrooms, pears, peppers, radicchio, rapberries, romanesco, onions, peppers, spianch, summer squash, Swiss chard, tomatillos, tomatoes, winter squash (acorn, butternut, delicata, kabocha, spaghetti), zucchini and more!

Mill City Cooks

Learn how to cook market meals in our free, chef-led cooking demo, Mill City Cooks, offered every Saturday in the train shed patio at 10:30. This Saturday, market chef Jenny Breen will be making a seasonal dish. Plus, our kids’ tables at the demo always feature coloring sheets and other engaging activities, giving adults some free time to relax with a cup of coffee and learn tips and easy seasonal recipes from our market chefs. Samples and recipe cards are available at each demo—or check out our recipe archive!

Mini Farm

The Minnesota Historical Society’s Oliver H. Kelley Farm joins us on the second Saturday of each month to show us what life was like on an 1860’s Minnesota farm. Meet heritage-breed sheep and chickens and chat with Kelley Farm staff on the top of the Chicago Mall, near Spoonriver restaurant.

Live Music

The Eddies will be playing live music from 11 – 1 in the green music tent by the Guthrie stairs.

Community Booth

If you’ve ever wanted to #GetSurly at a Farmer’s Market, today is your chance. Surly Brewing will be sampling their award-winning beers throughout the day.

Power of Produce

Power of Produce “PoP“ veggie tasting club is at the information tent every Saturday! Kids ages 3-12 can earn a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies by tasting a local, seasonal vegetable, as a way to empower kids to make healthy eating decisions. Learn more.
